Highlights of the week (July 30, 2021)

Greetings from mid-flight from NYC to Austin, Texas where masks are mainly in place and the rows are packed with excitable travelers, some from previously postponed girls trips and some babies on their first flights (no plane manners!). With COVID cases on the rise due to the Delta variant, and increasing anecdotal and statistical evidence of vaccinated people getting COVID, it’s unclear if we’re tempting fate by undertaking a full-fledged travel revival. Looking forward to seeing my girls though!
